New to this board

[Pragmatic Pete]

I would like to introduce myself and give a brief synopsis of why I am here.
I am Pragmatic Pete. I just signed up for this message board today and am very excited. I have looked at several of the posts and the thought provoking topics interest me a great deal. I look forward to many great topic interactions with all of you in the future.
You might be wondering where I came from. A friend of mine that I know from my Saturday college class was talking to me about this place (he seems to be deep into philosophy as well). He said that he enjoyed it and that I most likely would as well. I can't remember, at the moment, what he said his username on this board was. All of that aside, I hope to have a great time on this board!

To be honest, I'm not sure he even told me what his username was. I will have to ask him next week if we don't connect on here before then.
